MED Talks: MFM will offer learners an opportunity to gain high yield information on multiple MFM topics in a concentrated session. Each talk will be presented by expert faculty and will last 20 minutes. There will also be several Q&A sessions to discuss areas of controversy with the speakers and participants. This session will be helpful for fellows-in-training and MFM specialists looking for a concise review of controversial subjects, discussion regarding topics lacking clear evidence or guidelines, or a preview of areas where evidence suggests a need for change in management.

Learning Objectives:

  • Express an understanding of the complexities of care of some common obstetrical conundrums.
  • Describe alternatives to the current management of high-risk pregnancies.
  • Identify MFM topics that lack clear guidelines for management or have new evidence suggesting a need for change in guidelines.
