Katherine Chen, MD is a third year OBGYN resident at the University of Toledo. She was born and rasied in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Case Western Reserve University for her undergraduate and graduate studies. She then attended the University of Toledo College of Medicine for medical school and stayed there for her residency training. Currently, her interests include social determinants of health, combating pregnancy related maternal morbidity and mortality, critical care obstetrics, and bioethics. She hopes to work in public health and further participate in research projects as her career progesses.
