He received his BS in Biochemistry from University of Washington in Seattle in 2006, and completed the accelerated MPH program from Dartmouth College in 2007. Following which, he received his Medical Degree from St George’s University School of Medicine in 2011. He then completed OBGYN residency at Drexel University in 2015 and Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship at University of Maryland in 2018.
Following medical training, he joined the faculty practice at Loma Linda University as a board certified MFM. He was instrumental in creating the COMPAS program for management of placenta accreta disorder as well as the OBGYN department research committee. He also co-directs the residency research program. During his time at Loma Linda, he was awarded resident teaching award for two consecutive years as well as the student teaching award. As of this time, he has authored 25 peer reviewed publications, and was the first or senior author on 15 of them. He has also mentored numerous resident and medical student research projects, with more than 20 nationally presented abstracts in the last three years alone.
