Rodney A. McLaren, Jr., MD

Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital

Rodney A. McLaren, Jr., M.D. is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine faculty attending and Assistant Professor of Ob/Gyn at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, as well as the Director of MFM Outpatient Clinical Operation at TJUH. He graduated and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, KY. He then completed his Ob/Gyn residency in 2017 and MFM fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY in 2021. From July 2017 to June 2018, he was a junior faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center. He was voted by the residents as the best triage faculty attending that year. His clinical and research interests are high-risk pregnancies, in particular, but not limited to diabetes in pregnancy.
