Dr. Sadiya Khan is a preventive cardiologist at Northwestern Medicine and an assistant professor in the departments of Medicine and Preventive Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine where she also serves as the Associate Program Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship and the Physician Scientist Training Program. Dr. Khan’s clinical expertise and research focus on epidemiology, risk, and genetics of cardiovascular diseases with an emphasis on pregnancy-specific risk factors. Dr. Khan’s research efforts are funded by multiple grants from the National Institutes of Health. She has published >220 peer-reviewed scientific publications in leading medical journals with an h-index of 33 and her work has been cited over 12,000 times (Scopus November 2022). She also serves as an Associate Editor at JAMA Cardiology and the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology.
