Patrick Schneider, MD is an Assistant Professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH where he pursues opportunities in quality improvement within obstetrical care spaces. This includes work at Ohio State University as well as the state of Ohio surrounding hypertension, hemorrhage, and birth equity in collaboration with partners such as the Ohio Department of Health and Government Resources Center for the Ohio Colleges of Medicine.
Dr. Schneider's particular area of interest involves developing processes that harness the electronic medical record to better report on the performance of quality improvement efforts. Such efforts have the potential to create long-term, sustainable solutions to accurately accounting for care team performance within an institution as well as other healthcare systems.
