Mark Marinescu, MD (he/him/his)

Assistant Professor of Medicine
University of Rochester Medical Center

Dr. Marinescu is a practicing critical care cardiologist at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. He completed medical school at the University of Rochester, internal medicine training at the University of Virginia, cardiology at THE Ohio State University, and critical care cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Marinescu's practice focuses are on Pulmonary Embolism, where he currently service as the Director of the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team. He spends his clinical time in the cardiac ICU, cardiac inpatient service, inpatient consult service, and echo imaging. Notibly, he serves as co-director for our MFM-Cardiology collaborative meetings. Dr. Marinescu has also completed training in medical education and has recieved numerous teaching awards thoughout his carear.

His other interests including sailing and cycling.
