Assistant Professor, Maternal-Fetal Medicine
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
My name is Annie Dude, and I am an assistant professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. My research interests fall at the intersection of obstetrics and public health, including the role of contraception in improving birth outcomes, maternal morbity and mortality, and maternal medical illness including HIV, hypertension, and diabetes. Currently, I am completing a project regarding whether Catholic-affiliated hospitals impact obstetric outcomes. I work closely with our medical student, resident, and fellow trainees at UNC in the hospital, in clinic, and on research. I completed my MFM fellowship at Northwestern University.
