Dr. Jameaka L. Hamilton, MD is a Major in the U.S. Air Force and is currently a first year fellow in Maternal Fetal Medicine at The Ohio State University. She graduated from Wofford College Magna Cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a major in Biology and minor in Art History in 2013. She was a recipient of the F. Edward Hérbert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship and earned her medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine in 2017. She subsequently completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Constortion in San Antonio, Texas in 2021. During her chief year, Dr. Hamilton first-authored in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and received multiple awards including the ACOG Armed Forces District Military Ob/GYN award, Resident Research award, Outstanding Air Force Graduating Resident award, Outstanding Chief Resident in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility award, and a Second Place Commander’s Award for Housestaff Scientific Research. She is served as a staff general Ob/GYN while stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada prior to pursuing fellowship.
