Dr. Irogue Igbinosa

Irogue Igbinosa, MD, is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine instructor and WRHR Scholar at Stanford University. She earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine and subsequently completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Louisiana State University School of Medicine Baton Rouge. After residency, she was an AAMC-CDC Public Health Policy Fellow able to serve in the CDC Emergency Operations Center and contribute to research and resources for health care providers regarding Zika virus in pregnant women and infants. Her research interests include maternal morbidity and mortality, health disparities, anemia in pregnancy, infectious diseases, preterm labor prevention and management, preeclampsia prevention and treatment, and obstetric clinical trials.
