I have been fortunate to work with a group of remarkably talented and intelligent faculty who have helped me grow and boost my interest in education. I have had a growing interest in medical education since early in my career. I have given multiple educational lectures to residents and fellows in various Maternal-Fetal Medicine topics. I am actively involved in teaching the basics of obstetric ultrasound imaging to medical students, OB/GYN residents and MFM fellows and have also helped organize and implement obstetric ultrasound simulations to further raise the quality of ultrasound education.
In addition to education, I have always been interested in prenatal diagnosis and fetal intervention. There have been advances in this field including treatment of twin twin transfusion syndrome, fetal spina bifida and fetal anemia that have improved outcomes for these patients. I have been fortunate to be part of amazing teams involved in research and implementation of these innovative therapies and hope to continue working towards improving care for these patients and their families.
