Daniel Martingano serves as an OB/GYN generalist and clinical informaticist currently practicing in Queens, NY and Elizabeth, NJ.
Dr. Martingano completed his residency at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, his PhD in biomedical informatics at Rutgers University school of health professions, his MBA at St. Joseph’s University’s Haub School of Business, and a fellowship in neuromuscular medicine and OMM at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital. He is specialty board certified in OB/GYN through ABOG and subspecialty certified in Clinical Informatics through ABPM.
He presently has several roles bridging clinical and academic capacities as a physician-scientist in OB/GYN. He serves as the OB/GYN clerkship director, clinical associate professor, and associate residency program director in the department of OB/GYN at the St. John’s Episcopal Hospital-South Shore program, which includes St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens, NY, and RWJBarnabas-Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ. Dr. Martingano is additionally the chair of the OB/GYN department and assistant professor of mathematics at William Carey University. In addition to these clinical responsibilities, Dr. Martingano is involved with these institution’s scholarly activity and research, and presently has over 90 citations for his present work.
