Madeline Perry, MD, is a third year resident in obstetrics and gynecology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She is dedicated to health equity and implementing systems level and structural changes to improve health outcomes. She practices both quantitative and qualitative research, and is honored to share her work at the 43rd Annual Pregnancy Meeting.
During residency, her research has focused on how state-level policies are associated with maternal and neonatal outcomes and the use of community-based participatory research to better understand pregnancy and postpartum experiences in West and South side neighborhoods in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to research, Madeline is involved in health policy, and has helped pass legislature expanding HPV vaccine access in Illinois and has published opinion pieces advocating for legislative change.
