Assistant Research Professor
University of Pittsburgh
My name is Lara Lemon (PhD, PharmD), I am a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. As a pharmacist and epidemiologist, I work to structure and analyze large clinical databases in a way that allows clinicians to make data-driven change to improve patient care. I lead clinical analytics for the women’s health service line at UPMC, applying pharmacoepidemiologic methods to relevant clinical issues in Women's Health including obstetrics, reproductive endocrinology, gynecology, and gynecologic oncology. My training in pharmacy and epidemiology, subsequent experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine through the Obstetric-Fetal Pharmacology Research Centers, and as the data architect of the obstetric data in the Clinical Data Warehouse at UPMC, I am uniquely positioned to quickly interrogate the data stored in the electronic health record.
