Georgios Doulaveris MD, FACOG is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Doulaveris sees patients for ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, prenatal care, high-risk pregnancy consultations as well as caring for patients on Labor & Delivery and the Antepartum service. He is the Director of the Ultrasound Program for the OBGYN residents.
Dr. Doulaveris received his medical degree at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in his home country of Greece. In 2011, he moved to New York to complete a research fellowship in Immunology in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine. He went on to complete his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center where he also served as an Administrative Chief resident. He then stayed at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center to complete his fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Doulaveris is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Doulaveris' primary areas of clinical interest include diagnosis and treatments of fetal malformations, fetal therapy and surgery as well as prenatal diagnosis and management of fetal growth restriction, complex multiple gestations and placenta accreta spectrum.
