Dr Farrah Hussain is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, New York. She was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, where she graduated with High Distinction, and her medical degree with Distinction in Biomedical Research from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai West, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident. During her fellowship, she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society. Dr Hussain's research interests include gestational diabetes mellitus and preterm birth. She currently resides in Manhattan with her husband and daughter.
