This course is designed to assist Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist with management of complex surgical topics. The AM session will focus on cesarean scar pregnancy, drawing from and expanding upon the recent SMFM Guidance. The PM session will expand to include guidance on other complex surgical obstetric topics, and support of obstetric surgical programs.

Supported by an educational grant from Cooper Surgical.

Learning Objectives:

Review novel diagnostic strategies for management of cesarean scar pregnancy.
Identify a stratified algorithm for CSEP treatment strategies to be able to provide patients with options counseling.
List avenues of advocacy for women anticipating complex birth in the post-Roe landscape.
Identify patient fears regarding complex surgery at the time of the birth of their child.
To examine strategies for provider training and support in conduct of complex surgical obstetric issues.
