The overall goal of the annual Anti-Racism SIG is intended to address and elevate scholarly work that focuses on eliminating racism and bias in maternity care; eliminating racial disparities in health outcomes; improvement in diversity, equity, and belonging in our subspecialty, SMFM, and in leadership. This year’s focus is ‘Applying principles of Birth Equity to the real world’. Participants will learn best practices from three experts in quality improvement that have implemented Birth Equity Projects at the state level. This panel discussion will feature state leaders who have operationalized birth equity in their communities.
