I am an asssitant professor in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. My background training is in perinatology and maternal and child health epidemiology. My research interests are infectious morbidity in pregnancy, labor induction, severe maternal morbidity, diabetes and pregnancy associated hypertension. More recently, I have begun exploring pregnancy hypertension as a gateway to future cardiovascular health and strategies to modify risks.
