Lauren H. Theilen, MD, MS is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Utah Health. She attended medical school at UT Health San Antonio, and she completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University in St. Louis. She graduated from the Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship program at the University of Utah in 2018 before joining the faculty there. Dr. Theilen’s clinical and research interests include diagnosis and management of appendicitis during pregnancy, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, cardio-obstetrics, pregnancy as a window to future health, and optimizing transitions from obstetric to primary and preventive care.
