Dr. Omar M Young MD is an Associate Professor at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, where he serves as the Vice Chair of Education as well as the OBGYN Associate Residency Program Director. He is a maternal-fetal medicine physician by training, with clinical interests in pre-conception care and cardio-obstetrics. Furthermore, he is a clinician-educator who is grounded in providing significant and impactful educational experiences. HIs career has been focused on ensuring the next generation of learners understands the interconnectedness and intersectionality with clinical medicine and tenets of equity and inclusion.
