Tara Jatlaoui, MD, MPH, is chief of the Applied Research, Implementation Science, and Evaluation (ARISE) Branch in the Immunization Services Division (ISD). She leads the branch in conducting health services and economic research; designing and evaluating strategies to increase vaccination coverage, equity, and confidence; and translating evidence-based strategies for scalable program action.
CDR Jatlaoui led the Adult Vaccination Team in ARISE before becoming branch chief. In this role, she supervised the management of multiple research and evaluation contracts and the development of several research notice of funding opportunities. She served during CDC’s COVID-19 response in the Vaccine Task Force, helping to build out the Partnering for Vaccine Equity program.
CDR Jatlaoui leads CDC’s maternal vaccination coordination group.
CDR Jatlaoui is also a board-certified OB/Gyn and adjunct associate professor at Emory University School of Medicine.
