Dr. Molly Stout, MD MSCI—University of Michigan, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

I am Associate Professor and MFM Division Chief in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan. I am a physician scientist with a focus on transdisciplinary investigations related to preterm birth. I work collaboratively with engineers on cervical remodeling and with microbiologists to model the vaginal microbial community changes associated with preterm birth. I lead state-wide efforts in Michigan related to optimizing pregnancy care and access for maternal and fetal complications.
