Amy R. Mehollin-Ray, MD, is a pediatric and fetal radiologist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, affiliated with Emory University School of Medicine, where she holds the titles of Professor of Radiology and Pediatrics, Director of Education for Pediatric Radiology, and Fellowship Program Director for Pediatric Radiology.
Dr. Mehollin-Ray's research focuses on fetal imaging, including congenital diaphragmatic hernia, congenital lung malformations, and neural tube defects. Her research on identifying a hernia sac in fetuses with congenital diaphragmatic hernia and related work has resulted in numerous invitations for lectures at major national and international meetings and visiting professorships.
As a teacher, Dr. Mehollin-Ray enjoys working with students at all levels of training and in all departments, and firmly believes that every interaction can be teachable, including every phone call to the radiology department, every clinical team visit to the reading room, and every imaging study review with the performing technologist. She is adept at making complex topics digestible and easy to learn, and has received multiple teaching awards from her former institution, Baylor College of Medicine.
