Lauren Meiss, MS MD, is currently a second year combined MFM/Clinical Genetics fellow at Johns Hopkins. She earned her masters degree in medical biochemistry at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden in 2014, where she developed a novel biologic testing protocol to study the effects of medications on mucus production in Cystic Fibrosis animal models. Her current interests include: utilization of genetic testing, medical education, and increasing diversity in medicine through recruitment of trainees with disability. She is also the creator of SMFM consult series visual summaries.
