Dr. Shree is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington, in Seattle, WA. Dr. Shree's research is focused on understanding molecular changes at the time of preeclampsia and how those may persist after pregnancy and contribute to increased cardiovascular disease risk. Other funded projects include factors that influence cell-free DNA (cfDNA) metrics in preeclampsia and other complications; immune alterations at the maternal-fetal interface in complicated and uncomplicated pregnancies; and fetal immune education by maternal cells. Dr. Shree also serves on the SMFM Publications Committee.
