Callie Reeder, MD is currently in her first year of practice as an Assistant Professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville, TN. She completed her Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Her current interests include clinical obstetrics, prenatal diagnosis and fellowship education. While in fellowship, her research interests included placenta accreta specturm and the role of pregnant serum and potention beta cell expansion or immune modulation in type 1 diabetes. Dr. Reeder is a native of Tennessee. She completed her undergraduate and medical studies at East Tennessee State University. As a medical student, she was selected for membership in the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Upon graduation from medical school, she completed residency training at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
