Molly Sherwood is the Director of Research at the Allo Hope Foundation and an alloimmunized patient. She applies her experience in study methodology and research strategy to her role in improving care quality for women and children affected by red cell alloimmunization causing hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn (HDFN). Molly oversees the organization's research strategy and grant writing initatives.
Prior to joining the Allo Hope Foundation, she studied evolutionary genetics at Wake Forest University before transitioning to accounts managemeent in preclinical research. Shortly thereafter she spent nearly ten years in pharmaceutical consulting specializing in literature review, regulatory strategy, and scientific writing. Upon receiving her own diagnosis of alloimmunization and HDFN she shifted her career to solely supporting the community affected by alloimmunization.
