Katy Kissler, PhD, CNM is a nurse midwife scientist at the University of Colorado College of Nursing. She earned a bachelor's degree in Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley, a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Nursing from Columbia University, and a PhD in nursing science from the University of Colorado. She joined the College of Nursing in 2021 and teaches statistics and quantitative research design. Dr. Kissler’s research interests include labor progress, prolonged labor, and physiologic birth from a person-centered care perspective.
