Dr. Men-Jean Lee is the Associate Chair for Research and Innovations and the Kosasa Endowed Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii. After receiving a BS from the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern
University, Dr. Lee earned her medical degree from the Northwestern University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Prentice Women’s Hospital at the McGaw Medical Center Medical Center of Northwestern University, and pursued fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester. Dr. Lee also completed a postdoctoral research fellowship through the Reproductive Scientist Development Program in the Department of Microbiology at the NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Lee’s special interests include glucocorticoid effects on fetal development, social determinants of health and disease, epigenetics, and environmental effects on human pregnancy.
