Dr. Monica Williamson is currently a fourth-year resident in the Obstetrics & Gynecology program at the University of Toronto. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto MD program. She has diverse research interests, with experience in the fields of molecular biology, microbiology, and medical education. Dr. Williamson is the Director of Research for ISBRG Corp., a Canadian company developing optics-based diagnostics technology. She has also done qualitative work on competency-based medical education within the context of maternal-fetal medicine fellowship training. Most recently, she has had the pleasure of working with Dr. Stefania Ronzoni at the Sunnybrook Research Institute investigating premature prelabour rupture of membranes.
