Hee Young Cho is a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology and currently holds the position of professor at Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea. She obtained her medical degree from Yonsei University College of Medicine in 2002 and completed her internship, residency, and fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at the same institution. In 2006, she also earned a master's degree from Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea. Furthermore, she successfully attained her Ph.D. from CHA University in Pocheon-si, Korea in 2023.
Dr. Cho's professional journey includes prior roles as a clinical assistant professor at Severance Hospital and later as an assistant professor and associate professor at CHA Medical Center. Her primary areas of interest encompass prenatal diagnosis, the treatment of high-risk pregnancies, ultrasound-based detection of fetal anomalies, and the utilization of artificial ntelligence in smart healthcare systems. Notably, she is a certified Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In addition to her credentials, Dr. Cho is an esteemed professional member of the Korean Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology.Her contributions to the field have been recognized with more than 20 awards for her research presentations and articles.
