Greg Ryan is a perinatologist and head of the Fetal Medicine program and director of the Ontario Fetal Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto. He is a Professor in the Dept. of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Division of MFM at the University of Toronto & is cross-appointed to the Dept. of Medical Imaging.
His main interests are in the areas of high-risk pregnancy, obstetric ultrasound, fetal anomalies, monochorionic twin complications and particularly fetal therapy, including intrauterine transfusion, fetoscopic placental laser ablation for TTTS, fetal chest and bladder shunting, fetoscopic tracheal occlusion for CDH, fetal cardiac interventions, fMMC repair and EXIT procedures. He has pioneered most of these procedures in Canada. He has more than 200 publications in peer-reviewed journals and 17 book chapters.
