Erin Bolte, M.Sc., is a eighth year MD/PhD student in the Baylor College of Medicine Medical Scientist Training Program in Houston, TX, USA. She studies the effect of host-microbe interactions on human neuroactivty and neurodevelopment in early life. Her Ph.D. work utilized a model of maternal high fat diet feeding in nonhuman primates to study the long term outcomes of the post-weaned offspring.
