Joanne Stone, MD, MS

Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital

Dr Joane Stone MD MS is a Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. She serves as the System Director for Maternal Fetal Medicine for the Mount Sinai Health System and is also the Fellowship Director. She was appointed Vice Chair for DIversity and Inclusion within her department 2 years ago.
Dr. Stone is the President Elect of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine. She also serves on the Board for the Foundation for Maternal Fetal Medicine. Her primary research focuses on the management of multiple gestations. She has a special interest in invasive procedures and has been involved in several RCTs on labor induction.
