I am Rupsa C. Boelig, MD MS, an Assistant Professor at Sidney Kimmel Medical College/Thomas Jefferson University with a dual appointment in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellow and the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. I am the Director of Resesarch in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Associate Program Director for the Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship. I am board certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine and completed a Masters in Pharmacology along with a two year NIH funded (T32) Clinical Pharmacology fellowship. My research focuses on optimizing the use of pharmacotherapies in prevention of preterm birth and preeclampsia. I have a special interest in obstetric pharmacology and have ongoing research relating to the pharmacology of progesterone, azithromycin, and aspirin in pregnancy.
