Associate Professor. Director of fetal MRI
Children's Hospital of Colorado
I obtained my medical degree in Rosario, Argentina in August 2000. I trained in Diagnostic Radiology at Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio, where I had previously completed a one-year research fellowship in MRI. Subsequently, I trained in Pediatric and Fetal Radiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital where I worked with Dr. Beth Kline-Fath, one of the pioneers of fetal MRI. In 2010, I joined Children’s Hospital Colorado where I developed the fetal MR imaging program. I was a key member in the development of the imaging service of the Colorado Fetal Care Center. I am currently the Fetal Imaging Director and a member of the Colorado Fetal Care Center leadership team. In 2018, I became Associate Professor at University of Colorado School of Medicine. I recently finished a 4-year term as Chair of the Fetal Committee of the Society for Pediatric Radiology, and I am actively involved in fetal and placenta imaging research. I am part of the multidisciplinary team for placental abnormalities at the University of Colorado. I also participated as a member of the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Anschutz Medical Center Perinatal Research Facilitation Committee. I have lectured extensively and gained national and international recognition in fetal and placenta MRI.
