Clark T. Johnson MD MPH is the Medical Director for the Institute of Maternal Fetal Medicine at Sinai hospital in Baltimore. He is an Assistant Professor in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and a Clinical Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He received a dual Bachelor of Science/ Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Honors Biochemistry, and Theatre Performance-Directing from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he also received a Master of Public Health in General Epidemiology. He completed his Doctorate in Medicine from Wayne State University, and thereafter completed his residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics and fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Johns Hopkins.
He is the current chair of the Maryland Maternal Mortality Review Committee and serves on Maryland's Morbidity, Mortality and Quality Review Committee. He currently serves as the Legislative Chair for the Maryland Section of ACOG. For the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, he has served on the Health, Policy, and Advocacy committee, and is a current member of the Reproductive Health Project Advisory Group.
