Elaine Duryea, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, the Medical Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Clinic at Parkland Health and Hospital System, and an Associate Medical Informatics Officer.
Dr. Duryea earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UT Southwestern and Parkland and then received advanced training in maternal-fetal medicine through a fellowship at UT Southwestern. Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2016. She serves on several committees at UT Southwestern and Parkland Hospital and is Chair of the Parkland Hospital Stillbirth Committee.
She has delivered scores of presentations, contributed to the landmark textbook Williams Obstetrics, and published numerous academic articles.
In 2017, she earned the Outstanding Faculty Teaching Award for resident education.
