Kimberly Sullivan, MD, FACOG, is a current PGY-7 Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellow at the University of Mississippi Medical Center(UMMC). She is a graduate from UMMC School of Medicine Class of 2017 where she also completed her 4 years of OB/Gyn residency training. She served as the administrative chief of education her chief year and was awarded the Urogynecology Resident of the Year, the CREOG award, the Golden Apple Award for outstanding teaching, Evers Society All-Star Resident as selected by the MS3 student body, and best overall research day presentation for her work entitled “Birth Defects Related to Prenatal Exposure to Essential and Toxic Elements." Kimberly was selected as the 2021 recipient of the Robert S. Caldwell, MD Award, which is awarded annually to the top chief resident at UMMC. Kimberly has been in junior fellow leadership positions with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists since 2018 and most recently represented District VII as the Junior Fellow Chair for 2022. Her career interests include complex maternal medical managment including HIV care in pregnancy, managment of fetal anomalies, and resident and nursing education.
