Robert Rossi, MD is a clinician scientist at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. His primary research interest is periviable and preterm birth. Dr. Rossi graduated from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in 2012. He completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago in 2016. He completed fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati in 2019. During his fellowship, he conducted research on the genetic determinants of preterm birth in humans under the mentorship of Louis Muglia in the Pregnancy Genomics Research Lab at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center. He subsequently joined the faculty at the University of Cincinnati as an assistant professor in the Department of OB/GYN where he continues his clinical research and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.
