Amelie Pham, MD, is an Assistant Professor in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She received her undergraduate degree from New York University with a major in Neuroscience and a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. she obtained her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine with a concentration in global health. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, at George Washington University in 2020. Finally, she recently graduated from her MFM fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2023. She is originally from Montreal, Canada, grew up in Hong Kong, and has done several global health projects abroad (India, Haiti, and Vietnam). Dr. Pham's clinical and research interests include complex maternal conditions in pregnancy, fetal diagnosis and therapy, and severe maternal morbidity and mortality. Her prior research efforts have focused on biomarkers for predicting analgesic opioid use after cesarean delivery, pharmacotherapy and management of gestational diabetes, medication safety in pregnancy, COVID in pregnancy, and prenatal ultrasound.
