Dr. Jessica A. Peterson is an Assistant Professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine at The University of Chicago. She earned her bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Yale University and her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and her Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
Dr. Peterson joined The University of Chicago in 2023. She works closely with affiliated Federally Qualified Health centers to provide provider education as well as Maternal Fetal Medicine support. Additionally, she is a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine’s Patient Safety and Quality Committee.
Dr. Peterson’s areas of interest include medical complications of pregnancy, quality improvement and health equity.
