Dr. Sarah Cassity Graves is a fellow in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. She completed her undergraduate education at The University of Alabama in 2013 where she graduated magna cum laude with Honors with a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor in psychology. She received her medical degree in 2018 from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine where she was inducted as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society and was the recipient of the Glasgow-Rubin Achievement Citation, the Dr. Richard William Gurich Memorial Endowed Scholarship, Outstanding Student in the Pre-clerkship Curriculum, and the Obstetrics and Gynecology Awards.
Dr. Graves completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2022 at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System where she was the recipient of the Resident Excellence in Medical Student Education, Residency Excellence in Ultrasound, Residency Excellence in Laparoscopic Surgery, and the Maternal-Fetal Medicine awards. Her passion for obstetrics and internal medicine led her to Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic where she participates in resident education and simulation and is involved in research on metabolomics in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, placenta accreta spectrum, and the delivery of postpartum cardiovascular care. Dr. Graves is board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology, a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
